Pin this to the top of the thread. DO NOT DOUCHE, it is entirely unnecessary and doctors literally could not give less of a sh!!t if there is sh!!t on their glove, it's an anus, they know what's up. And like you said examining any fecal matter that may be present is a crucial part of the exam to check for potential abnormalities.
