I think it's a great song but it doesn't have a super strong hook. 

Should have been single #2 if not the lead

Did it though? It was top-30 on the year end chart on the main Indianapolis top 40 radio station

Because it feels formulaic, impersonal and phoned-in, like all the tracks on the album. The pop girls who smashed last year (Sabrina, Chappell, Charli) brought personality and wit to their music, whether it was confessional songwriting, sticky hooks or quirky ad libs. 

Every song on RO is kind of boring / sound the same. Very sleepy-psychedelic versus the weird boundaries that she could've pushed with that theme and vibe. The writing and hooks on every song lacks as well. This all really in comparison to how forward FN felt. Just underwhelming across the board.
