So there's this AOTY...

This AOTY  I cannot stop listening to this. 

If we get a deluxe in the future I hope we can another Harvest Sky sized bop, would also help the album feel more cohesive 

gave this a listen cause i kept seeing the album cover on twitter but it was such a chore to get through despite being only 36 minutes

harvest sky is kinda cute tho

This is one of the freshest sounding albums I've listened to recently. I hope more people discover it soon. It's like someone took the Rewind outro (Brat) and turned it into an album

The album is fantastic!

 

The single choices were perfect leading up to the release. Clearly some of the best songs, but still there are so many other gems to find here. 

Hoping it will be really successful for her

Recently saw stan twiter hype this album up and... yeah this is not the type of music I'm into

 

 

It IS very unique though, her music stands out and I don't know anyone (at least quarter-mainstream) who makes similar kind of music atm

Yall who cant get into it need to give it a few more listens, its very sleepy and feels like a snooze fest AT FIRST. But when it hits..... 

 

 

it was instant for me but i also loved the singles

The melodies will start to unfold after repeated listens. There are LAYERS to this. It's literally impossible for me to put it down now

You didn't hear a hi hat and your head exploded be honest.

Only those with a pure heart and soul can truly connect with Oklou's music and understand its complexity I fear

The key is to mentally prepare oneself to not expect hard thumping bops before listening to this. Come in with an open mind. Like this album is all about melodies/synths/sounds/world-building. Put the expectations down and just let it wash over you.
