Well known for performing only on the biggest stages and her secretive Beyoncé-like approach, it would seem Normani's team is trying to keep everyone on the edge of their seats to see if she'll attend this year and give us another iconic performance, and possibly release the long awaited music video.

 

Should we expect her to be added to the lineup soon?

Considering she barely even acknowledges she's released an album this year, I doubt it 

I love her, but I wouldn't even be surprised if they forgot to invite her.

 

I've always said that she's only 1 performance or music video away from becoming an overnight MPG. The level of talent and potential she has is INSANE.

 

 

I'm so mad that her/her label's strategy has been to wait. For what? They should've just dropped Dopamine after her Motivation performance at the VMAs.

 

A "wet spaghetti" strategy would've done wonders for her. Just throw stuff at the wall until something sticks. Eventually, something would have.

 

Instead, "underperformances" caused them to chicken out and they constantly waited for "the right time."

 

There was no "right time"…and now she's 28 and has barely done anything for her solo career.

 

Such a waste of (what should be) a superstar.

Why would she perform at the VMAs if she hasn't done any promotion for an album that the label didn't believe in? It's very clear the label did not want the album to come out and there were no plans to release it to begin with, hence there hasn't been any promotion for it whatsoever. 

 

I wish yall would quit making these threads just to have people disrespect and dump on her. It's tired, late and delayed at this point.
