    Led by husband-and-wife duo, Jean-Philip Grobler and Patti Beranek, synth-pop group St. Lucia released "Utopia" back in 2022. Equal parts colorful disco, 70s funk, and 80s pop, the album is a luminous palette of synths, pulsating with vibrant sonics that have come to characterize St. Lucia's genre-defying career.

    Seems like another bop, I don't wanna get ahead of myself but this could be my favorite song of the three we have heard so far.

     

    The strings are given a Boney M. Vibe.

    According to the credits on the end of the video the album is Fata Morgana: Dawn. 
     

    seems like this album is coming in sections (like Utopia) or is part of a collection/series.

    Sweet, I don't mind the EP's strategy tbh.

     

    Aly & AJ are credited as background vocals, how cool. They recorded together some material last year, I think. Hopefully we'll get a feature in the upcoming EP!

    I'm curious to see how this roll out goes we already have a quarter of the album at this point, if they stick with the typical 11-12 tracks 

    I'm absolutely obsessed with this track one of my top tracks of 2024. As someone who often feels like their life is one giant existential crisis I love the lyrics and the fact they are set to an upbeat, melodic pop track.

    I'm glad I just discovered this today. Waiting from August to March for an album drop is way too long.

    The music, like always, is excellent though.
