The background is she has been a longtime collaborator of the girls, basically a studio 5th member almost, she cowrote Black Magic, Shout Out, Confetti etc., and LM even featured her in the LM5 album when she launched her solo career. She is aware of the way Simon and her meat grinder machine treated the girls, and supposedly was on their side but she has since signed with Simon Cowell to be part of his new show where he is trying to put together a new OneDirection.

Rumor has it that's why Perrie shelved the sessions with her and Fred Again.
