I believe she was responding because they were asking who is the biggest female popstar at the moment. And obviously Mariah didn't make sense whatsoever, just like someone saying Katy's name today.

 

Y'all call female popstars flops, argue about their stats, minimize and discredit their success daily in comparison to your favorites, then proceed to act holier than thou and outraged when Katy calls someone a throwback 

I've thought about this quote frequently over the last two weeks because no one has given a damn about Katy in a decade 

I've learned tha Mariah + Taylor are artists that you MUST NOT mess with, they seem to have this God-given shield of Karma that's unexplainable, it ALWAYS bites back.

And now Katy isn't even fabulous for a throwback her damn self. Completely discarded as a pop girl. The Christina Aguilera of her generation (without the talent).
