She's changing Argentina's pop music forever, this is superb. She shines so much on each song :weeps:

Can't wait for Obsesión's video, it looks like another serve.

  • i wonder what she thinks about emilia doing her concept better and way more successful

Obsesion is really good, and I wanted Quienes Son? to be more of an electronic bop a la Motiveishon but better.

Diva is still the best song on the album.

It’s a very solid album but personally, the new songs are weaker than the already released singles.

Sola is a major bop, I also really liked KO. I’m on the fence with Obsesión, the rest they may be growers. I kinda expected more from Quienes Son?

The trinity is still Disciplina, N5 and Como Tu. Easily her best album though.

For me this rivals Boomerang as her best video yet :clap3:

yeah this is just an all around solid body of work. i'm so happy for her. this being self titled makes sense now. it's like the best of all the elements that make her the artist that she is. also HUGE britney influences all over this record, was that intentional?

yeah 100% intentional. I know she's a fan, but one of the writers is a full on Britney stan :gaycatney1:

I’ve been reading how inspired she is by Britney. She says the late 90s and 00s are the stronger influences on this album, she even mentioned Blackout and so did her producer as in defining moment for her career/sound. She namedrops Britney on “Diva” and the “stop!” on “Obsesión” is sampled from “(You Drive Me) Crazy (The Stop Remix!)” apparently.

oh i picked up on that right away. this whole album is giving me 2023 version of what BRITNEY (2001) album would sound like today

Yeah she cleared TINI with this one, sadly she won't get half the streams Cupido got. She needs to ditch Sony Music they don't give a **** about her

eh they both did well. the only difference is that this album is clearly a body of work while cupido was a collection of singles. a glorified playlist essentially. what these two need to do is collaborate with already. hope tini goes back to making pop music again, especially with the success of cupido

I need Martina to serve another masterpiece like her debut :dancehall: agree on the collab they will release the argentinian Me Against the Music :eli:

I can already see some tracks that didnt instantly click with me being growers but almost every song would benefit from an extended version, they all end the second youre actually getting into their vibe. I felt like I was being teased and she never finished me off.

It's arguably her best record and I love how unashamedly 2ks it is. Obesión is a great opener and it really sets the mood for the rest of the album.

Diva remains her best song tho :gaycat1:

Yeah literally my only criticism for the album. Theirs a reason why the songs with bridges and final choruses are the best. They feel like a completely told story. We really got lucky in 2023 because we've gotten so much good music.

I love the album, Lali deliver you own style, like "Soy", not "industrial" like Brava or Libra (these are good albums too). "Obsesión" es un Flashdance that really makes us obsessed, the part with Britney's "STOP" is really awesome. "Incondicional" is the new "Boomerang", "Sola" and the intro beats catch me easily, "KO" is a party time and "Ahora" is a invite to sex (really hot).

I don't know if the fandoms will stop the fight, but this will be a masterpiece, for sure! By now, Lali is on pop and Martina in reggaetón/cumbia/urbano style, both knows how to mix your styles so, we could have a big hit.

On second listen everything clicked :jonny5:

This is so good. Even Diva has clicked now ( I never got into it but now I am like, yeesss BOP! )

I also love how well produced this is. My main issue with her first albums is how cheap they sounded, like the production and mixing were off. I am glad she dropped 3musica cause you can hear here and in Libra how she shines with a good production.

Obsession and Quienes Son? are on repeat since last night.

Slay Mariana :clap3:
