What Beyoncé actually did was interpolate the remixed version by StoneBridge and Nick Nice:

 

 

Technically, those credited on BMS wrote/produced exactly 0% of what Beyoncé referenced (the instrumental of the remix) which was then interpolated. To use another 2022 example, Harry Style's As It Was interpolates the instrumental of A-ha's Take On Me but no one says that the song samples it. Harry chose not to credit the original inspiration, Beyoncé did, and went extra by crediting the people who wrote the song and original production, but not those who made the remix because legally remixers don't get writing credits.

 

And if you compare the synth from Show Me Love to BREAK MY SOUL, you can hear it's a similar, but different melodic structure.
