Those ITZY solos, terrible.

 

everyone isn’t meant to be a soloist and I need these companies to realize that and stop pushing out these idols to go solo. A lot of them just aren’t stars and can’t stand alone. They need to play to their strengths

 

 

“BORN TO BE” is also not good and a rip-off of BLACKPINK’s “Pink Venom’s” aesthetic

Do you know what is LAR?  

 

It stands for 'Live All Recorded'. It's when the singer doesn't lipsync to the original track per say (AR), but lipsync to a live recording of the song they did before the actual performance. That's exactly what these babymonster's performances are.

 

Mr Removed in these cases are pointless to showcase any ability, It's not live singing. And K-pop stans doing Mr Removed from LAR/AR performances is the reason why these videos have a bad reputation, when they aren't exactly bad, if the artist is really live. 

 

That being said, I don't doubt they are skilled, just explaining.

I’ll take that into consideration, but they’re fine. Also idk if I would believe they’re lipping to live recording because both performances are different. So unless they’re doing multiple pre-recording, which I doubt it. They’re definitely singing live. You can hear the breathing, the mics, the parts where they’re not singing or stop singing

But somehow all the BabyMonster girls are stars and have the power to go solo already right? 

Imagine coming for ITZY's star power out of all groups

Yuna’s voice is kinda bad NGL but the song is cute. Her beauty and charisma shine through. My Twitter TL is eating it up.

I heard the breathing too during the Mr Removed, but in LAR It's more common than you think, cause since they were 'live' when recording in studio, It usually has the sound of singer’s labored breathing. In K-pop It's used exactly to create an illusion of live singing. 

 

Don't think I'm targeting Babymonster, It's extremely normal in K-pop. All my faves already did It too. 

 

Personally, I was interested more in the rappers, they seem to have lots of potential taking in consideration what I heard and I liked to see one of them wrote her verse. I hope to see them promoting for real in the future. 

Itcy, adspa and LE SSAKURAFIM are the trinity in 4th gen when it comes to every member's potential star power and recognition

lol, I don’t think you’re targeting them. You’re simply sharing your opinion, you’re entitled to it

 

I hope they promote the next release as well. I get the feeling YG didn’t want them to promote until Ahyeon returned. “Batter Up” seems more like a teaser or pre-release

Speaking of BABYMONSTER’s next release. I’m guessing a FEB comeback because in one of their behind the scenes vids they said they’d be coming back very soon. January seems too early, so it’s looking like February, followed by an album

 

YG finally listening to fans. It’s a shame it took BP 4 years before they released their first album

At some point kpop fans have to say NO to child exploitation (I guess we haven't reached that point yet)

I know the talk rap in Ryujins is cringe but the verse and chorus are my fav. The song has nice levels.

 

I know we like to drag miss liability but it’s a shame she isn’t doing promos since her track is quite good. It’s giving Red velvet bside in the best way possible.

Loved the concept though of doing all solos. Yeji's was by far the best and I think I'd use Chae and Lia. Yuna and Ryujin are stars in their own right but wasn't feeling them, I defo think Yuna may click in full

the age conversation is so tired and played now. Y’all gotta come up with something else because y’all listen to groups with minors in them as well, but all of a sudden when it comes to BM age is a factor? Like…y’all gotta move around

Factually incorrect.

 

When IVE debuted, only 1 member (Leeseo) was more than a year away from turning 18 

 

That's much more acceptable than Baby Monster, where there is a 14, 15, 16 and 16 yr old at debut.

 

Idk abt NewJeans (idk any of their names/anything abt them), but I'm sure it's not as bad as BM. If similar to BM, it's also not acceptable.
