It's SM, ever since 2017 they've been announcing the debut of NCT HOLLYWOOD and there's still 0 info on that.

Not you really trying this, Zoo has high streams because it went viral, same reason, same reason why NCT DREAM's B-side Life is still going on has almost the same streams as Zoo in spite of the total lack of promo + Candy is already at 53M and Hot Sauce has over 100M.

There are tons of models and celebrities attending every year even without being involved in movies, etc. It's not that deep.

Korean cinema is becoming more global so I think we will see it more often now. Krystal is attending this year due to her film being selected at Cannes for example. But as other big name idols sign ambassador deals, that will be a more and more common reason to see them there too.

 

 

 

obviously IU had a reason to be there since her film was in competition last year, just like Jennie's The Idol this year (even if it's not in competition). it's just that mostly they seem out of place even if they are just there because of fashion stuff. what are they going to ask Winter, her favorite Akerman or Kiarostami film?
