It’s just recently that Vogue Korea started to do many digitals cover like that. Vogue Korea didn’t have a cheap image at all, especially bc only a few idols bagged a solo cover:

 

Like Gd, Taeyang, Big bang, Exo, Iu (not an idol),Suzy, BP,Jennie, Kang Daniel ,BTS etccc. Like not every idols could get a cover (Twice, Girls generation Members, etccc) But nowadays with these digitals covers it’s clear that it’s just bc the brand paid for it…
