If only Columbia handled Plastic Hearts era :dancehall2:

They probably wouldn't have let Dua Lipa ruin the era yeah.

So glad it's doing so well :clap3:

You are right, it was RCA's pursuit to add Prisoner to Dua's album before it even came out

Guess they were in the right since it's now the most streamed song of the album :bird:

Not sure what it changes since it doesn't count towards PH's total in the US

And? The world doesn't just revolve around the US. Some artist have global appeal, don't be sad about it  :bird:

Prisoner, just like Midnight Sky, was a hit in many countries around the world and since it's Miley's #2 song on top tracks on Spotify it shows that people still come back to it. Flowers will join, hopefully with US on board this time.

Because it's on FN :skull: Point is the album collapsed after Dua included it on FN, which killed the album but whatever.

Streets are saying that's how Flowers sounded like before Kid Harpoon gave his final touch to it.

This reinforces my feeling that the final product is perfect and that it doesn’t need any more punch or production, like a lot of people have said.

The subtlety of the upbeat disco influences underneath her almost melancholy vocal delivery in the final version is what really sells the song. This version is slightly more ‘in-your-face disco banger’ and it couldn’t be more jarring.

All this smashery makes me wonder how big Plastic Hearts would have been if she was under a different label. :chick3:

Definitely grew on me! I liked it at first and thought it would smash for her (maybe not quite this crazy), but I didn't think it was something I'd personally come back to much.....and here I am unable to get it out of my head. ATRL loses again! People underestimate the power of her redemption tour over the past two year (PH + her showing off her talent in every format she could). Really allowed people to be excited when she dropped...and the quality was there even if it isn't her best ever.
