Hmmm. No. The original bebadoobee song is superior on its own, similar to the Dido classic :giraffe:

Apples and oranges. The only things these two have in common are the melancholic samples from a female singer-songwriter and the fact the main artist is a white rapper, but they couldn't be more different in terms of subject matter and tone.

 

As much as I enjoy "death bed" for its premise, "Stan" is simply on another league as a song for its riveting storytelling and haunting atmosphere, not to mention its impact on pop culture.
