1. Look at the cities those shows were in. It was Bumbf*ck, Ohio type places. That's an undeniable smash.
2. If you take Nicki's last tour's top 7 shows, they wouldn't come close...

This has nothing to do with the record itself. 

 

Cardi brags about the fact that she set this record with ONLY 7 shows, which is an undeniably stupid brag that makes no sense as fewer shows would most likely mean a higher average

She needs to drop that album and tour again. Lizzo is literally on an arena tour and killing it, I don’t know why Cardi is not following suit. Festivals and events just aren’t huge money makers, so I don’t know why she’d rather do that.

Do either one of you understand how AVERAGES work? The self-drags in this thread and true lack of brain cells

 

It being only 7 shows and the average being $1M indicates that almost all the shows ON AVERAGE were above $1M - making it MORE impressive. Please take your fave’s advice and stay in school

Cardi is bragging about her setting this record while ONLY doing 7 shows. Had it been 20 shows, the average OBVIOUSLY would be lower as it would be much harder to keep up with the $1M average the more shows you add. Thus the BRAG about it being ONLY 7 shows is stupid, as fewer shows naturally leads to a higher average (and more shows naturally leads to a lower average).

 

Had it been 2 shows (fewer shows) the average would have an easier time being $1M+, rather than if it was 10000 shows. Do you understand now?

Based on the original tweet she quoted (which only gives the average), most would have assumed the $1M+ average for her “2019 ARENA Tour” would include WAY more than just 7 shows (there’s a reason the # was excluded ajksks).

 

20 shows with an avg of $1M is FAR more impressive than “only 7 shows!!” 
 

what you’re failing to COMPREHEND is that, while still an impressive feat, Cardi’s attempt to brag that it’s only 7 shows actually lessens the achievement

Regardless if only 7 shows, in what world is an average of 1m per show seen as bad? Its definitely something worth bragging about, a lot of other artists couldn't hit that. You're looking at it through a MPG lense I think. Your maths is correct though.

When have I ever said it was bad? I have never made a comment about the achievement itself - only about Cardi's brag about doing it in only 7 shows. I'm simply pointing out the fact that it's a backhanded brag. I am so confused by people's reading comprehension
