it's been 5 years since her debut.. since then taylor has released about 10 albums, a bunch of girls came and went, the entire music industry changed, nicki flopped and unflopped, a whole ass pandemic came and went and she still hasn't released her sophomore album :rip:... will she ever release it? what's taking her so long

Never of course. Cardi B isn't a passionate musician. She has already stated that she does this solely for the purpose of money and nothing else. Hot Ish was meant to be the song to roll out this "album" with but it underperformed miserably. WAP and Up are 2 years old atp... realistically there is really no demand for Cardi B to make music anymore. Doja pushed her out of the scene and we all know it by now. She will end up with only one album under her belt simply because of her stupid decisions. She could've released an album in 2020 after WAP but chose not to do it. She could've dropped an album in 2021 alongside Up but again chose not to do it. She could've dropped one in all of 2022? Literally no competition but guess what? She chose not to do it. ITs like she's waiting for somebody else to drop their project before she does :coffee: Or shes scared to flop... or both :alexz3:

idk but the hype is gone. 

even if she release it at some point, it wont sell more than 70k in first week.

she wasted amazing opportunities, now she's probably too lazy to release it or she knows it will underperform thanks to her awful decisions

OT: IDK, it is mind boggling. Had she dropped 1-3 months after WAP, the numbers would've been huge. Still could've been big big numbers around Up. Now? Can def pull +150K but that's far off from the potential she had. For all the rumours there are of her being in a 360, she seems to be given a lot of freedom of when to release. Cause any label with complete control would've BEEN forced her to put out an album.

Pardigang have been saying that she’s “coming to show the girls how it’s done” for years now, so I expect her to drop very, very soon :clap3:
