Her latest album HOLY **** debuted with 4.6M streams on Spotify. A steep decline from her previous album which did 11.3M. 
 

Despite changing her sound and image, people still choose not to support her music, so what do you think she should do next??

Keep releasing flop music until one of them eventually turn into a viral hit and see what happens after that… 

if it never happens, at least she made her more loyal fanbase stay. but its always a possibility, 29 for example is not viral but it got some cute attention, it didnt help the album at all tho but maybe one time she’ll have a CFTS with a new song, everything is possible if she keeps releasing

 

and also she needs to get on every TV Show, Podcast, (…) possible and try to show a more likeable personality. Maybe also being active on tiktok and stuff with a likeable personality, not just to promo music 

shes on a very bad commercial moment and she already tried to rebrand and it didnt work at all, thats why i think that keep releasing new songs even with them flopping is her best option

They've reached the inevitable point of being over for mainstream radio and the major pop business but they'll keep going off the strength of their fanbase. They don't have the largest one, but definitely a large enough to sustain themselves, do cute tours and be able to release music without big budgets and without big losses. Any act that has hits in their back catalogue and can debut with over 20k and tour a theatre on their own is profitable enough to continue.

She's had 10 years of commercial success. Yes she's never been on the other MPGs level, but we should remind ourselves that the ones we talk about are the elite of global pop music, she was still a successful artist and celebrity despite never being at the top, it's not like she's struggling to pay her bills.

 

That said, she's had a very tumultuous life, and she has enough money to just pursue her passion without caring about success, I don't think it would be the priority of anybody with her past and issues. It's clear that the typical pop route isn't doing it for her anymore, she doesn't have to strive for success if she doesn't feel like it. 

Really like her new direction in terms of sound. Her & Miley should both stick with it.

She was on the red carpet responding with a thank you to a photographer who called her beautiful or something. Then switched back immediately to posing. I thought it was funny and made it an avi.

She'll obvious keep releasing music. As someone above mentioned, she doesn't have a large fanbase but she does have a loyal one. And as long as she keeps putting out quality music she'll have it. 

 

She's still making way more money than all of you combineed so I think she will be fine
