her famous mvs are always some big production cause if not theyre not gonna hit and her tours always have to be extra grand otherwise people would catch up she has no stage presence at ALL

This is ridiculous statement aren’t most hits mvs from MPG all big production? And can you please take 5 min to watch Fearless tour, speak now tour or red tour before you say her tours always have to be extra grand? She can perform to a whole stadium alone with a piano or a guitar for 20 mins straight and her audience enjoy it, that is so called ‘extra grand’ and ‘no stage presence at all’? The fact is her only tour with extra grand is reputation tour

i mean, i have seen many videos of taylor performing and i do not think she holds herself up very well on stage, theres even a bunch of videos making fun of her performances throwing chairs around and acting as a crazy girl for blank space . if you strip back the major elements there's not much entertainment left imo. also im pretty sure im not the first person to talk about her lack of stage presence. also about mvs, i was saying that if you take back all the gimmicks for shock value the videos arent very interesting, not that they arent going to be succesful, the thread asked about serving without budge and not necessarily having a hit without budget. for example i can still be entertained by beyonces rocket video and mileys adore you which are very simple and laid back, but i wouldnt say the same for the most simpler taylor videos like the one with ed sheeran from years ago or 22 or many others

? the thread is clearly asking about our opinions and i was stating mine, i do think the videos i mentioned are more insteresting than taylors videos, but of course taylor with her legion of fans is gonna have millions of views. i was not undermining taylors success which is pretty obvious i was just saying that shes not appealing to me and then all of a sudden youre bringing ww units and writing credits about albums i dont even care about... go touch some grass dude 

Dua Lipa by far, she doesn’t excel at anything so she needs the budget.

Girl I like Taylor but it’s not about profitable is about serve…

also views doesn’t mean **** because the majority of that streams are by their fanbase which is big -just like almost every MV of any pop star tbh-

 

i don’t think Taylor is the best example on not serving without budget tho but I’m just letting u know tho

No one technically NEEDS. Huge budget just depends on what they are trying to sell.

 

 

Someone like Beyonce or Gaga need huge production because people expect larger than life shows from them. It is their brand. 

 

Someone like Ed Sherman doesn't because people like to watch him stand around and look awkward and basic and hell. His brand isn't larger than life. No one goes to see him for a spectacle.
