That's not a rip off. The only similarity between the two is the chorus part right, right? That happens because both songs go down the pentatonic scale at that point. Going down the pentatonic scale is a really common element of pop songs; songs like Katy Perry's Birthday, Teenage Dream, and Jason Derulo's Love Me Down, among hundreds of others, do the same thing. Saying that Now or Never is a rip off of Needed Me because they sound similar due to the placement of their pentatonic scale defense is akin to saying every song with a millennial whoop is a rip off of another one.

lol many songs go down that scale but now or never does it too similar to needed me... and even if it's not entirely a rip off it's still ****!
