I've heard Beyoncé's Halo and other IASF singles too many times to count in H&M stores across Europe

Idk if this is a drag but I’ve never understood why people think that music that gets played at retail stores are bad, they literally play songs by popular acts, that doesn’t mean they’re bad

Because it's usually the safest, blandest, most inoffensive and unimaginative pop music. I call it retail pop. If I heard my song playing in one of those stores, that would tell me I need to step it up.

i didn't even know retail stores made their own playlists, i thought they just played HAC radio.

I’ve heard at H&M stores songs like HTE, pov, drivers license, AH, know better, etc., how are these songs bland? :bam:

Drivers Licence and pov absolutely fit the bill. Ofc there are exceptions like Happier Than Ever, but most of the songs places like that play are those Dua Lipa/Ava Max/Mabel type of songs. Super safe and sanitised.

Ava Max, Rita Ora, Bebe Rexha, Dua Lipa discographies lowkey. Albanians kinda got the H&Mcore pop music in their pocket

is this supposed to be shade because when i went to H&M i always find myself opening shazam to find out the songs that is being played :dies:
