Oh I have not tried that. I have made my gifs exactly 170x170 but they still get botched

I use ezgif.com to make all my gifs. It's not the most professional (there are subreddits entirely dedicated to make them properly with desktop apps) but they end up looking pretty nicely idk.

Looks fine, but your avi here looks way better (what did you use for it?). I think if the quality of the video isn't very good then ezgif is not the best option
