If you right click and inspect the webpage/post editor after embedding a YouTube video, you can replace the HTML with edited embed script from YouTube. 

 

So when you click Share on YouTube, one of the share options is Embed and it gives you a script, like this 

 

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/3KjuAIXeimk?si=BgI9VwrDktH48Wy0" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe>

 

then you just change the width and height to be what you want. The hard part is identifying the embedded element in the HTML. You know you're hovering over the correct element to replace when it highlights the embedded video in your post on the left.

Sorry, it's difficult to explain 

 

You right click the HMTL element you want to replace and choose "Edit as HTML" and then just replace that whole section with what YouTube gave you + the changes you made to the dimensions. I tend to go for w 311 × h 175.

 

It's probably not worth the trouble tbh but I still do it anyway sometimes
