I don't know how to write about this without giving a novel. Basically someone "stole" something like a couch / big pillows from my place where I work with one colleague and 5 students who help us (we rotate). Sometimes we lay there when nothing is happening and no one ever had a problem with that and it's not like it's visible (it's like a back room). But two dumbasses from floor below who are our department and we work close decided to "give us a lesson" and they took it when no one was there and I spent a whole day looking for this because I got scared I will be responsible for something going missing and they hide it because they don't like the fact that we lay there because that work and not kindergarten. But they didn't tell us, they just broke in and took it. And it made me feel like a fool! I was asking around the whole institution - security, cleaning lady… and they said I can't tell anyone (our students too) and I have to lie that I don't know what happened to this "couch". Of course I told anyone (my colleague who is away currently and our students) but I feel stabbed in the back

Tbh sounds like typical older coworkers! Idk WHY they're so obsessed and bothered with what their younger colleagues are doing it's weird. You should report them to HR and say they stole the couch and took it home

Chaotic day at the office. Went through like 1500 emails, my phone never stopped ringing.
