I don't know what happened, but iKON are not THAT better vocalists than BTS now

They definitely are

their sub-vocals Chanwoo & Song alone are better than Jin, Jimin and V

Trust me it's only because Kai is in EXO that it seems "tragic" but compared to BTS he is good.

No, he's not. :rip: He literally has one of the worst voices in K-pop.

Since y'all so outspoken about calling Hyolyn a flop cause of her looks calling her ugly (and not for releasing music by her own) it's just cause of her being dark skined we all that's ---- I don't think a single of her international fans she made with dally dally and layin low think she's any close to ugly

How would you guys rank 2nd gen idol

group turned lsoloist in terms of success?

My top 10 would be

1. Taeyeon

2. GDragon

3. Sunmi

4. Hyuna

5. Taeyang

6. Zico

7. Jay Park

8. Taemin

9. Kyuhyun

10. Hyolyn

GD just need to return to give King Tae a competition. I prefer his solo songs to most BB songs weirdly enough. I used to want a G-Tae collab especially during 2015 era. Still kinda want it ngl :chick3:

RBB is trash and I will always stand by that. Might be cute to watch a performance of it but to genuinely play it..with all that screaming. Mno

class:y ceo and producer is Cho Yihyun

If you don't know her, it's F-VE DOLLS & DIA Seunghee.

when you say "success" are we talking overall or just sales

because there's NO bigger idol soloist than GD

1. GD

4. Taemin

5. Zico

6. Sunmi

7. Jay Park

8. Hyuna

9. Kyuhyun

10. Hyolyn

5-8 I just did my best guesstimate because I don't really follow them like that

but I know they're more successful than 9 & 10

Taeyeon is definitely bigger than GD right now. And it’s only natural seeing as he hasn’t released at all for a couple years whilst Taeyeon has bagged smash after smash. Hwasa and Chungha have also done a lot better than a lot of those soloists in that list for the last few years too

This is why they're called Kings of Kpop or Legend in KTRL for reasons

Sistar is truly the best summer GG of all time. As soon as the weather is hitting the 80 degree mark, their music automatically starting to sound better- from the more grovvy type to the bubble gum pop heaven.

Hwasa and Chungha are not 2nd gen soloist though? If we're including all soloist from the new generation it would be a hugely differently list. Baekhyun, Kang Daniel and some of the BP girls off the top of my head

@Mel Taeyeon has definitely taken over GD ever since his hiatus. Taeyeon has more digital hits, sold more albums, had more concerts, currently have more Spotify streams and listeners. That's why I said things may change once he does make a comeback but until then it's King Taeyeon no.1

GD still has bigger concerts but Taeyeon beats him in every other metrics

Dong Woon (or as some used to call him, The White Boy he is actually not white) from HIGHLIGHT released his first non ballad album.

Her last album didn't interest me & I didn't even bother to check out the mess with Dawn but I'm hyped now. This might be a true return to form if it's done right.

Which HYBE clearly won't let happen :shakeno: if they wanted wanted rid of her it would've happened by now, they're just collecting evidence in support of Garam at this point

Taeyeon will never be bigger than GD, she just has more releases so it looks that way

but if they were to release music on the same day, he'd demolish her

on every metric there is

he's unbeatable, no soloist comes close

and all of this happened when GD was inactive

of course she's gonna have more listeners on spotify because she's been releasing music

GD has more hits, sold more, has more impact, the man had dome tours by himself

ya'll gotta stop with the bias because ya'll don't like GD + BIGBANG

go to Korea and they'll tell you themselves she's not seeing him
