people saying they won't stan a group of teenagers which is understandable, but the fourth gen hasn't just begun the trend of debuting kids at all

 

i feel like third gen had a little less of that which is why people are surprised, but the average age of SNSD at debut was like 15... krystal and sulli were the same age as these girls at debut, KARA jiyoung and hara were like 14 and 15, taemin was, sohee and hyuna in wg were...

I think what makes people uncomfortable is that many of us are in our 20s on here. With the groups lately sure there have been members that are young like Leeseo but there is at least a few older girls like Gaeul & Yujin which makes stanning more comfortable.

 

If every member is a minor then its perfectly natural not to want to be invested.

this is true  i think because im closer in age to them its easier for me to stan them but as i get older it also is crazy to see the average kpop idols getting younger than me  never meant it wasn't understandable to feel awkward stanning them but also many of the groups that are lauded in this thread debuted at the same age- if you click that snsd allkpop forums thread from 2006 that was posted here a couple days back a lot of people are complaining about the same thing, so as newjeans gets older, they could follow a similar career trajectory and attract more fans 

they do look quite similar to jennie but i think its because they're still babies, so they're still baby-faced. maybe when they grow up their unique features will start coming in.

the song is cute but it fell flat, i was expecting some VOCALS
