This  its literally just fluff when she's talking about music. She has no direction or motivation to record an album, it would of come years ago if that were the case.

She should have had at least 3 albums out by now. 

1. Another moody pop/rnb album - similar to Anti, but more introspective
2. Disco/synth/house album - how she let this pass her by when she was at the forefront of EDM and dancepop in the early 10s, is a tragedy
3. Afrobeats/Dancehall album - no explanation needed 

 

Can you imagine all those demos just rotting away on a hard drive?

on AM in the credits it says Rihanna and on Spotify it did at one point.

the fact she had over 1000 songs submitted for this album at this point.

she was at 500 in 2019ish for the dancehall content itself; i can't even imagine how much content she is sitting on

 

 

If that dance album came out in 2017/2019 she would actually be seen as the starter of dance music coming back
