Just watched the Oscar performance and she did amazingly well. I found it very moving, brought tears to my eyes. No singer can evoke emotion in me like Rih.

She sounds great here. Honestly, I know everyone wanted the choir but I actually think it overpowered her voice in the televised performance. Kind of drowned her out at some parts.. You can hear her more clearly here, but either way I loved it. Still obsessed that she got a standing ovation.

As for the performance, it’s a solid 7,5/10. She gave us some vocals there, her head voice has definitely improved but i felt like this was still not what we all expected. Still amazing

I didn't mind the performance but it wasn't amazing, but I guess it's because I like the song but I don't find it amazing either. 

 

I'm a little bummed she lost, but would of been more disappointed if she lost with a better song (plus we all knew Naatu was frontrunner to win so it was kinda expected)

 

She looked beautiful though and her star power is lowkey unmatched. Hopefully this is a nice stepping stone for future Oscar performances if she decides to record soundtrack songs in future.

She sounded great but the 'hold me hold me' part at the end was too flat.....it can be difficult to belt when ur pregnant which is why I was hoping she would do an adlib run rather than try to belt 

 

Anyways she looked beautiful throughout the night and I loved the performance overall
