Not surprised at all, I knew the way people were acting like she HAS to top Anti was part of the delay. Glad she’s getting herself out of that mindset and I’m sure LMU alleviated a lot of that pressure

Me too! If she doesn’t release an album this year, I wouldn’t be surprised. She puts a lot of pressure on herself.

 

This interview really made my thirst for new music get a little quenched. We never really knew why she hasn’t released new music for the past 7 years (except for her pregnancy + postpartum, and the launch of her beauty/clothes empire). For a while, I felt like she lost her appetite and passion for music.

 

Now we know about what’s going on in her head. I understand more and I’m ready to wait a bit longer until she puts out a body of work she feels comfortable to share with the world (and when she gives birth and takes time to recover because we all know that a pregnancy isn’t easy AT ALL). 
 

I know some of y’all won’t agree with me but that’s just how I feel about this whole album situation.
