Those TeamPink videos are doing such a good job. The effect is wearing off already but after they posted JGMAR, it did almost 1.1 mil daily streams.

Proofing if she's handled properly, she still got a chance to score a hit

20 years ago today on April 4th, 2006, P!nk released her fourth album I'm Not Dead! The album was a huge comeback for P!nk after the underperformance of Try This. The album debuted at #6 on the Billboard Hot 200 and sold 126,000 copies in its first week, debuting higher than both M!ssundaztood and Try This. The album is estimated to have sold around seven million copies worldwide. P!nk revealed that the general concept behind the album's title came from an epiphany she had about becoming an adult and recognizing its responsibilities, alongside a wake-up call about life after her father suffered from a heart attack. P!nk also mentioned that 'it's about being alive and feisty and not sitting down and shutting up even though people would like you to'. The album discusses several topics ranging from societal and political commentary, to grief, sexual assault and mental health. It also deals wih topics about relationships, uncertainty, death and reminiscing on a problematic youth, similarly to M!ssundaztood. The album received overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics, and provided a true return to form and comeback for P!nk. It was a pivotal album for her career.

The lead single, Stupid Girls, was released on February 7th, 2006, and despite its controversial lyrical themes and the music video in which P!nk made fun of certain female celebrities and critiqued 2000's tabloid culture and its effect on women, peaked at #13 on the Billboard Hot 100. It debuted at #25, the highest debut of her career. The music video for Stupid Girls ended up winning a MTV VMA for Best Pop Video, and Stupid Girls was nominated for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the 2007 Grammy's.

The second single, Who Knew, is a song about grief, and the music video shows P!nk at a funfair as a couple is seen together at the funfair. Despite arguably her signature song nowadays, the song initially failed to make any commercial impact; it didn't even make the Billboard Hot 100 when it was first released in May 2006. After a re-release of the single in 2007, the song eventually managed to make it to #9 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song received universal acclaim, and P!nk herself often mentions how the song (which was originally about a friend who passed from an overdose) has taken on different meanings for different losses she's experienced through her life.

The album's third single, U + Ur Hand, is an upbeat pop-rock song which lyrically describes P!nk making it clear to a man making unwanted advances to her that she is not here for his entertainment, and that he should make use of his hand instead. The music video showcases a book in a fairytale-like setting, alongside shots of P!nk kickboxing, fixing up a car, reading a book whilst being watched, sitting on the balcony of a skyscraper, confronting a man at a bar, and laying down on the bed in a futuristic setting. The song was released as a single on August 29th 2006, and peaked at #9 on the Billboard Hot 100, and became one of her biggest hits.

The album's fourth single, Nobody Knows, is a vulnerable ballad about repressing mental health struggles whilst reminiscing on people's ignorance. The music video shows P!nk having a mental breakdown in a London hotel room, alongside shots of her walking through the streets of London at night, P!nk in a group of friends who seem to take notice to her different demeanor, and a shot of P!nk walking on stage. The song was released as a single in Australia and various European countries in late-2006 and early-2007.

Throughout 2007, coinciding with the I'm Not Dead Tour which started in June 2006 in San Francisco and concluded in September 2007 in Cape Town and spanned 154 shows, two more singles were released as promotional singles to promote the tour; Leave Me Alone (I'm Lonely) (a power pop song about needing distance from a parner) and Dear Mr. President (an open letter to president George W. Bush). In October 2007, Cuz' I Can (a song lyrically displaying confidence and bravado) was released as a digital single. In December 2007, the I'm Not Dead Platinum Edition was released, an exclusive re-release of the album featuring music videos, footage of behind the scenes whilst making the album and the music videos, and the song Heartbreaker (originally a B-side from the Stupid Girls CD single) on the tracklist.

Simply my favorite album of hers, without SG, which I don't care for. And it gave us her best song , Who Knew .

Just uploaded it, in case any of you haven't watched it or want to watch it again.ducky

Oh, I'm Not Dead, the absolute legend that you are! The lyrical content of this album is one for the books.

I'm Not Dead is her best album and probably my fav album of all time too. Bow down

Is the Oprah interview worth watching? I don't think I ever have.

I think it's worth watching, Oprah even invited 4 so called stupid girls to her show to discuss their behaviour

Ngl why does it look like she And Carey defo parted ways? He posts nothing about her, always separate. Even now in Easter photos he is not present. Also have not seen them together in ages. Smth is up.

The album might be good then from miss Gurl.

I think they have separated, but not in a legal/divorce kind a way. Maybe the want to take a break from each other and see how it goes.

If she gets inducted and he is not there, it will be obvious.

People Magazine and others have not taken down their stories about their separation. That speaks a lot.

They did attend &Juliet the show together not that long ago. But it looked too obvious just for clearing the rumor.

I sincerely hope P!nk fans stop questioning Carey about their relationship on IG. It only makes things get worse...... And it's kinda embarrassing... Just let them be, it's not ours to concern.

It is quite obvious they've been off for a while now, and the People magazine post was totally legit, but they probably didn't want to make a big deal out of it, and the kids were not aware either, and that's why she was pissed in her post. She didn't expect it to leak, but Carey's behavior's been really weird, he didn't even congratulate her on the nomination

They made their own rule of what a marriage is for them. People were into traditional marriage where husband and wife gotta live and sleep together. As long as P!nk didn't say a word, I believe they're still working through everything together.

Speaking of I'm Not Dead. That album was my obsession back then, it's my favorite album and still obssessed.

There are couples like the Beckhams, but there are also couples like Harts. ducky
