I used to think the same, but I understand everyone has their own way to grieve. A public statement would be a good public stunt, nothing more. In her mind it's probably the same kind of backlash she got for supporting BLM in 2016 or speaking out against the overturning of Roe v Wade but this is the first time in her life that she's been on the wrong side of history.
