Your mention of Angelina has nothing to do with the personality of Lara Croft, you do realize Tomb Raider spanned 6 video games before the movie adaptation?

 

Have you ever played tomb raider? (tr1-6 specifically) to even understand laras personality traits mannerisms etc?

 

if you did, you should understand how Nicki can embody and capture the essence of Lara Croft. And no, im not talking about back flips and ****, the actual personality and embodiment.
