If we are talking about chart wise a top ten debut would be cute. I'm not sure if it would be a hit.

I would wait till the whole song come out to say chile

from the snippets we’ve heard, i’m leaning towards flop

 

HOWEVER

 

it does sound lovely & i really wana hear the full 

 

I have only listened to the snippet up to the "and you say you were crushed" part so I am not really sure. I feel like radios could like the song, it's great for the fall/winter, it shows another side of Nicki and, because of the song's theme, I can see it doing well on TikTok (more towards "sad" tiktoks, like what was I made for). 

 

I'm actually really excited for it because Nicki has not pushed a song like this as a single since PNP. I know PNP is divisive but it really holds up now and that second verse is always highly regarded by the gp. 

Let's say I struggle to imagine Last Time I Saw You doing worse than PNP (which was not a smash hit by any means but it still did well considering the type of song it was). 

I just know she's going to lose direction toward the end of the song  

I'm really intrigued to hear why the end of the song is her favorite part (because it can either be a gorgeous instrumental outro or her channeling her inner Mariah and belting like never before)

she needs to turn things all the way up in september, im getting bored 

 

& she better attend NYFW
