Todd & Joaquin decided to kill the hero that incels and conservatives builded around joker. And a musical and a non-violence film based on Arthur and not on joker was the best way to do that. The only thing I keep myself asking is if Gaga was aware of this intention or if she really believed this was a good movie to be in. I'd very disappointed if she didn't catch the intention of Todd and Joaquin, how can she be so blind? this movie is a masterpiece alongside the last matrix movie: directors came back to their films to make fun of its fans and to desacralized the bad interpretations and violent and conservative cultures around it. I wonder if Todd will someday address this thing and be sincere about what he wanted to do. 3

That's why they repeated the Venice premier. They expected more high-brow critics and audiences to intrinsically understand what they were doing with this film and celebrate it. The first film was popular because of controversy I think they wanted to replicate that but in a different way. But then again, Zaslav is known for blowing up projections who knows. Either way Gaga did fine. She did her job, received acclaim, and sold the hell out of the movie. 2
