Abracadabra Posted November 5, 2023 Posted November 5, 2023 I love Marry The Night, to me it's perfect but the only thing I would change is that I wish it had the intro with the church bells, they sound so beautiful, haunting, and anthemic, I think it would have been a great way to start the album 3

There are early Fame era interviews where she's explicity said the phrases "art pop" and "born this way". I just hope LG7's album cover isn't pink or black. Yeah but I think she stopped doing that a while ago, she said in the Zane Lowe interview that most of Chromatica was already written and recorded before she came up with the title and concept. I would guess also that she always had the idea in mind to make an album called Joanne, but didn't know specifically when it would happen but a more personal and introspective album after Artpop made sense. But still planning the aesthetic or even the cover for a future album this much ahead is crazy, especially considering they are not strictly related, just TF and TFM share the yin yang theme. One thing i hope for LG7 cover is to be textless like Chromatica (or BTW 10th) it feels timeless 1

Chaos Angel Posted November 5, 2023 Posted November 5, 2023 Marry the Night is a highlight but it needs a remaster In my opinion, the songs with production that aged best on BTW were DJWS songs (Government Hooker, Bloody Mary, Electric Chapel). 2
Bhabylon Posted November 5, 2023 Posted November 5, 2023 If Peso Pluma gets a Grammy nom/win for Lady Gaga, can we include them GodGa's Grammy's stats?

GraceRandolph Posted November 6, 2023 Posted November 6, 2023 This is the closest Gaga should lean in a rock direction tbh. Something epic but still pop and accessible. 1
hausofdave Posted November 6, 2023 Posted November 6, 2023 Grammy noms in 5 days but for Gaga its just another regular Friday 2
