Also, the thread should never have been closed. Imagine acting like spoiled children who would rather break a toy than share and let somebody else have some fun with it.  Maybe Katy's audience hasn't changed that much from the "Roar" days after all.

I know there isn't a specific date just yet, but we know something is coming soon. 

I also don't think it's fair to close a whole thread because some kitkats begged the thread to get closed out of frustration. Why ruin the fun for the rest of us?

 

Quite frankly, reopening the thread would just be a small win. And as you know, Katycats haven't been used to winning for the last couple of years.

sooo, when do we think something is coming (if anything is coming, AT ALL)? 

It is possible that she will announce lead single today? Daisies was annoucement in thursday. But I think maybe tomorrow or tuesday and release in friday 7 june

The new Kesha page got closed too. Because the mods caught on: these broads aren't releasing **** anytime soon. The thread anymore isn't valid after weeks of silence. There's no one else to blame, if Katy had made any noise, that **** would have stayed open.

There hasn't been weeks of silence though. The update literally happened 8 days ago. Kesha's thread was open for months. It's not comparable whatsoever.

 

There's definitely an agenda against Katy from specific higher ups on this forum (and this is not speculation, but I do not wish to elaborate, you can doubt me if you wish and are free to do so).

 

Imagine losing your mind over no announcement for 8 days. The entitlement from certain people is just extraordinary. This TikTok age of instant gratification has ruined y'all.

That's true, I can see Kesha did have an unfair advantage then, or the page was simply overlooked because it wasn't making any noise or making numbers compared to Katy's page.

I'm new here but from what I've seen, I don't doubt this, I never thought about this. I'm moreso just upset at this stupid woman for ruining her own career and hyping up her fans for no reason.

Here is why I think it is fake:

 

It sounds like those AI music generators like Suno or Udio where you tell it what kind music to make. To me it sounds like they put Katy Perry or "electropop" in the prompt when asked what type of music you want it to generate. 

I feel that they also used AI to replace the voice on the outputted song and placed Katy's vocals on it. The lyrics sound AI generated as they seem incoherrent, the tempo keeps jumping around and it sounds like a 2014 song.

 

Another reason I think it is fake because It doesn't sound like the current formula Dr. Luke and his proteges are using. They have a certain "sound" and this leak sounds nothing like what they are putting out.

I agree with all of this. Sounds very AI'd.

I think we should stop having expectations, considering even insiders and Capitol have no idea what's going. Something is coming soon, though. Capitol keeps the 142 post thingie (god bless them ) and I doubt Katy would tease something months in advance. My bet is an announcement this Friday or next Tuesday and the release June 7.

I do think she lowkey messed up. She doesn't even have to make an announcement, but she should've at least given us some eastereggs or small teasers. The complete silence is not it. I bet the hype will be back once she does something interesting again. 

Just relax. Listen to some new music, watch movies, get a hookup in the Grinder.

 

Everything will happen by itself the way it happens.
