The reason why Doja isn't having a solo tour of her own is because Abel and his team miscalculated slightly by booking stadiums instead of arenas. Basically, he needs a popular mainstream act to fill up a few seats. Doja and Abel share the same manager, but Abel is clearly top priority. So unfortunately, Doja's solo tour was sacrificed in order to help Abel.

It's obv that's what happened. I caved and bought tickets for the Dawn tour anyway but it's so frustrating knowing that the only reason there's no Planet Her tour is to save face for Abel . Sal/XO so shady for that man, especially when almost all of her other peers are doing solo tours this summer/fall smh.

Remember when IYE remix promo and single status was completely scrapped because of the scandal? We know for a fact that if Amala's career was in jeopardy, the Weeknd wouldn't be used to help her out. 

 

But they will make decisions against her best interest if it means helping the Weeknd.
