I wondered about that also, I guess it must be okay, artists collab with people from other labels sometimes,  probably just have to get both labels to sign off on it?

i thik its normal, but whatever they're releasing was for sure recorded before her leaving the label i think, cause it would be worth it for the label both of them together on a release

I honestly think Anyone should've been the lead single from Romance. It clearly worked well for Justin as it went top 10 in America, meaning US audiences liked the song. And it's sonically different to Señorita (unlike Liar), so it was something fresh for pop radio to play from her. 

 

I think Shameless + Liar should've kept their release date in September, but just been promotional singles / droplets for the fans. Liar's music video should've been cut for Anyone.

 

Then I would've scrapped the release of Cry For Me + Easy, and released Anyone on October 11th as the first promoted solo single from the album. Performing it on SNL in its debut week would've given it a great first push. I then would've given the Graham Norton performance to Anyone (unless Liar was still doing well in the UK on its own). And performed it on the EMAs + AMAs.

 

Living Proof could've still come out in November as a promotional single with the album pre-order, but Anyone would've remained the focus. And then My Oh My would've remained as the next single post-album release. 

Camila should consider a collab with John Legend who is on The Voice with her . they did a nice cover of one of my favorites from this year.

Yep! It’s the one song I’m mad she gave up. I don’t care about God Is A Woman or Closer. But Anyone would’ve been perfect as the lead single for Romance.

 

It doesn’t seem like they were going to do much with it anyway sadly. The rumour is that it was meant to be a Target bonus track.

'Anyone' had good peaks on the charts cause of justin's power..it spent only one week in the top 10 of hot 100 and fell quickly .. Justin had bigger hits on his latest era..I don't think it would have been a hit for Camila..

I just think it could’ve worked. Ballads

from Lewis Capaldi & Selena Gomez were smashing around that time.

If they’d of pushed Anyone at the focus single pre-album release, I think it would’ve charted better than the other 5 songs she put out.
