If y'all think the tour is coming, doesn't that mean Act 2 and 3 is not coming any sooner? Unless she name it differently, I don't think the second and third part of the project is coming if she's touring under The RENAISSANCE World Tour.

I hope I'm wrong though.

I think there will be another tour. I can see her doing less dates for this than FWT, but going back on the road in 2024 after act ii.

I have not listened to TG in many years and don’t intend to. I still have no idea what she was thinking. It was basically a project in narcissism. She took one of the most beloved animated classics by generations and nationalities far and wide, and tried to make it all about her. Not only that, but the link was painfully tenuous.

Not saying it’s bad because she’s incapable of creating anything bad. But yeah, it was bad for me :chick1:

I’m just glad I can put it behind me. Renaissance really was a Renaissance for me in terms of my love and adoration of this queen.

I will say that Otherside is a masterpiece and will be my funeral song so I’m thankful to TG for that at least :coffee2:

yeah the greatest of all time:jonny5:

She always did too much but it was always so authentically her and that’s why it worked (she also had and has the talent to back it up). Not to be shady, but other girls do too much and it’s just so try hard and inauthentic, and that’s why it just doesn’t work. Not to mention, they simply don’t have the ability to dance and sing at the same time like her so it always come across messy.

Like someone else said, there will never be another.

I love The Gift and think it is really cool that she created a mixtape decades into her career. And the music is excellent including career highlights Find your way back and Bigger. I must say the original release's interludes resulted in a failed commercial result for the album

I can't imagine not listening to The Gift, it's such an incredible body of work.

idc I'm glad she has collaborated with talented artists and created a project like The Gift.

The Gift was a fantastic project. I was obsessed with it back in 2019, and still revisit it every now and then.

We don’t talk enough about the way she had options from Don’t Hurt Yourself, Daddy Lessons, PYCM etc to release from Tidal County Correctional Facility and onto VEVO just for her to free that blood curdling hymn known as Sandcastles. As if it wasn’t enough that she never officially released the majority of Lemonade’s visuals in on YouTube… With them dusty ass 40M views. It’s no wonder Lemonades daily streams are on the floor.

The gift actually has some gems like Bigger, Water, Find Your Way Back but its release was an absolute disaster.

The random interludes, the name of the project, none of the music being featured in the movie, the music videos being released as a "film" one year later.

I feel bad to whoever was given that project to promote because its a mess.

I appreciate the fact that Beyoncé is so big that she decided to created an album inspired by the film and not care weather the songs will be in the movie or not. Not many artists would be allowed to do that (or would even want to invest such energy).

She literally could have delivered Spirit and Can you Feel The Love Tonight and call it a day. Instead, we got that immaculate album.

As for videos, we got Spirit and Bigger... than she just decided to do a whole film out of it just for the sake of it.

I know it's hard given the current Renaissance situation but we are kinda spoiled in a weird way :skull:

the only bey-affiliated project i don’t revisit much is everything is love outside of apesh*t from time to time :giraffe: the gift gets plays from me a lot in the summer at least

The fact that TG songs weren’t used in the film is what killed it :rip: I can’t believe she didn’t make that a requirement when signing on to voice it. That was honestly such a mistake on Disneys part as well, it would have made the film feel less like a huge nostalgia trip and given it a way more innovative feel

I’m not worried about Lemonade’s daily streams. It’s a classic album with a classic feel. It will have staying power.

Speak on it cuz it’s true. I’ve said this a few days ago. She spoiled us and that’s why we’re acting this way with renaissance. From Lemonade, homecoming to the gift (all with accompanying visuals) back to back….. I feel like we can give her a break and allow her to handle this era any way she feels..

Not to mention she released the worst song as a single, when she had straight bops on that album, Mood was too braggadocious

No one wanted that though, they wanted nostalgia, not new.

Lemonade is doing bad, but that’s her fault. The movie could bring in a new audience now, but it’s hidden away :sistrens: she doesn’t care about streams, so it’s whatever.

As Chart Hive, I'm hoping they have some clever way of making Renaissance the anchoring title of the three acts (so basically one big album done tastefully unlike Chris Brown's approach).

The combined sales would presumably be huge, it'd make the era itself even more iconic, and present SO MANY cool marketing opportunities. From collector box sets (with all the acts) to a creative way of dividing the tour legs. Like, she could theoretically tour for 2+ years at spaced out intervals and center each run around a different act. She could even mix up live formats. Stadium now, something more intimate (to support the rumored acoustic act), and even go the residency route if she feels later.

Put simply, she can do what the likes of Justin Timberlake (20/20 Experience) and Chris Brown have done before her and innovate like only she can.

What did Chris Brown do?
