It would be nice to have something that's a bit more like 25, not because of the sales, but just an album that's easier to listen to. And you could still have the artistic quality of 30 in there, just in a more compact form.

Nah, I don't want that. Just ignore them. That's what I do, at this point. Lol. Either way, I think there was more hype for TS last year. And both Spotify and Billboard have made some chances to their rules and/or stream filtering this year, so let's see.

 

And it's not just about the first week sales. 25 sold like 8 million pure in 2 months.

I guess it's because some people think 25 sold that much just because 21 came before it, but no, Hello obviously sold the album a lot. And yeah, possibly 25 could have sold even more if Adele performed Love in the Dark live on TV.

 

If I have one wish for the next album, A5, is that I want them to promote it properly. Maybe release two singles before the album. Try something different than the usual November release.

Adele's achivement can never be broken and what is more astonishing is she doesnt even try and care

 

if she is as obsessed with sales, she can obviously

 

the streaming era obviously favors those who does farm streaming and we know Adele is bigger with the mass consumers and not the legion of fans

 

if Billboard or Spotify obviously counts the unique listeners more than the number of streams then that's better

 

million of streams from 200,000 listeners is better than million of streams from 20,000 fans

Yeah, that's probably not true, but next year could be possible, perhaps, considering how long it's been since "30" was released. It was supposed to come out in 2020, but then Covid happened. 
 

It would help if we got some pictures of Adele going to the recording studio now. There was a couple of them in 2019.

No, but I think it's promising Adele Access is still posting little things on social media to maintain fan engagement. They went no contact during the breaks between 21, 25 and 30, so this improvement from that.

 

But yeah, it's been like 6 years since she started writing 30, so... you'd think she at least has an idea for the next album by now, lol.

And now we have Page Six saying Super Bowl talks...

And she was seen out couple days ago. Doesn't have the usual long nails on, so if she wanted to play guitar or piano now, she could.

 

It's almost like 2015 again with all the rumours, haha. 
 

I think the 30 era really suffered from Covid and the initial Vegas cancellation, so it would be nice to move on from it into another era.

Lol, the money from Vegas and Munich was probably good, but yeah, I feel like/hope she wants to smash again.

 

I've been trying to look from previous years that on which days they announced the Super Bowl performer, but it seems there's no consistency other than it usually being in September. Could be any day now. Kendrick last year was announced on a Sunday, for example.

I think Q1 2026 would be more likely (if the SB rumor is true). I feel like her + her team would want to switch things up for the new album and break away from the October/November release schedule like her past two album cycles.

But I wanna say this here too, that in the last 3 years, the Super Bowl halftime performer has been announced on a Sunday in September. The exact date keeps changing, but on a Sunday regardless. So, if that pattern holds, we are getting the announcement tomorrow or next week Sunday. And most likely on social media.

 

For example, Kendrick posted this last year. You should see the time and date in the post.
