This entire post is you being a hater. Go and stan your pop princesses and leave Drake alone if you don't have anything constructive to say.

You're trying to say he's chasing hits with this album when he's doing the exact opposite. There are several songs he could have tacked on to the album that he didn't. Every song on this album is new and nothing is a clear radio hit or even being pushed as a single, yet here you are being pressed talking about the numbers being undeserved. Who are you to decide what's undeserved or not? He's been serving great music to millions of fans for years now and that's why they still support him. If someone said all the things you just said about one of the many precious pop girlies you stan, it'd be like it was the end of the world.

He's doing these numbers without 28 versions of vinyls up for sale. He just dropped the album and fans are supporting it the way they know how.

However you feel about him, he's a legend already. He was the Artist of the last decade and his catalog pulls the most streams in the US every week, every month, every year. No one has dominated music in the US like he has in the last 12 years. Hate him all you want but that won't change anything about his legacy.

Thank you. :clap3:

Imagine Dragons missing the top 10 :gaycat6:

Not surprising since there’s no hit this era, there was zero hype. But then again Smoke + Mirrors (their flop era) didn’t have a hit either and they still opened with 190k (their highest opening yet and it’s their only #1 album).

Also, the album was bad. I hope they can rebound.

His last good album was Nothing Was The Same

Damn these are serious numbers in 2021. Good on him.

Evermore numbers are Taylor's power with no physical sales*

They are not under the exact same conditions when Taylor does better in pure sales meanwhile Drake does better at streams.

With shipping first week, Taylor could easily do 330k+200k(the week vinyls shipped) and that doesn’t even include CDs.

Even Red TV will do more than Evermore's first week so stop with your delusion. You are the only loud and wrong one here.

exactly:clap3:

anyone who says evermore didn't do impressive numbers based off streaming and digital sales is delusional.

OT: these numbers are very impressive for a bad album.

I can say the same to you

I don't ever want to hear that "the album is dead" again. If anything streaming has brought it back stronger than ever in terms of just how many people are listening to albums all the way through. I would love to see detailed listener data for big releases, I bet over a million people in the US alone have already listened to CLB.

You can't. You always act shady in other artists' threads but when someone says something about Drake you whine about it and come up with lame excuses and personal attacks. Cut out the hypocrisy sis. It ain't a cute look.

It’s exciting that someone can do that much on the strength of streaming. :clap3:

kinda surprised no drake song broke 20 mil US spotify streams
