How do you sell units nowadays? By being streamed? I'm sure it didn't actually sell 5 million copies 

Well it was #1 basically everywhere esle well  before even hitting top 10 on BB.

its SPS ( sales plus streaming). Welcome to the last 3 years. Unless you're  Adele or Taylor ( and that's quickly changing) units are how an artist sells these days.

Why do they keep calling them sales though. Pretty none of those units are sales.

probably because that's the industry standard. to be fair about a tenth of them are actual sales in BL's case.

Well it went #1 for several weeks in more than 30 countries I'd say the biggest global hit since SOY / Despacito

Wait, hasn't this been in the top 10 for like more than half a year? 

 

So this song is obviously a MASSIVE global hit but it isn't THAT big of a hit here in the US... It's incredible what radio can do for chart stability.
