The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights" tops Radio Songs for a record-tying 18th frame (79.2 million in audience, up 4%). It matches Goo Goo Dolls' "Iris" for the longest Radio Songs command since the chart started in December 1990.

I still wish radio wouldn't spam songs ad nauseam like they seem to continually do more and more, but if they were gonna do it with any song, Blinding Lights was a quality choice. :clap3:

Honestly it’s an extremely good song. I always live when it comes on the radio so I can see why this happened.

The fact that it's tied with Iris as the longest running airplay #1 of ALL TIME

 

We have to stan 

BL got an audience boost this week too, surprising given its 18th week at #1. I'd argue that Iris doesn't count since the airplay panel only consisted of Top 40, Adult Top 40, AC, Rhythmic & Alternative in 1998. We Belong Together truly set the record & M5 then tied WBG. So BL now holds that record. 

Beating the record on the R&B Songs chart when it isnt even R&B:rip:

Absolute classic, although IYE deserved :clap3:Hope it can surpass that fraudulent #1, but glad it got the title regardless.

I feel like this might break circle's record for longest running top 10 with the insane radio stability
