They stopped after the 6ix9ine gate, didn't they?

they never give the details

Yeah, she would’ve easily done 325-350K with major promo during the 1st week in normal circumstances.

The fact that she only posted about the album once on the day of its release and didn’t mention it the entire week and still got one of the biggest debuts of the year. WOW. :deadbanana4:

Yes. Her fans really went all out in supporting this album. Not THAT many stores were closed. The album was still available in a lot of stores and she booked 3 shows in the US way before the whole world went to **** so yes, her numbers wouldn't have been that much different.

Her numbers are great, considering. I'm just saying, she wouldn't have magically done 100K units more under different circumstances. That's just being unrealistic.

What are you talking about? Every major music retail store (target, Best Buy, etc.) in every major city was shut down for most of the tracking week.

Unlike Joanne and ASIB, her predictions did not go up through the week.

TABS :clap3:

This would have opened up with 350k-450k if she had some promo & televised performances  :jonny6:

And with no live performances, major press, or self promotion after release day, and her online store being shut down since Tuesday  clap3.gif

It's crazy how many obstacles this album had to face and it still ended up winning so hard :jonny5:

This era truly has been one for the books. The way she achieved so much without even lifting a finger. No one else is doing it.:jonny5:

finally she can cancel/postpone her tour now that the tour bundle counted towards her first week

Amazing numbers :clap3:

Although all this shoulda, woulda, coulda on this thread :toofunny3:

HER POWER IS JUST UNDENIABLE :jonny5:

The situation in the US is awful and she's not been able to do any kind of promo, yet she's doing better numbers than ARTPOP, Joanne and ASIB:jonny5:

no shade but when do people go to artists websites to buy albums? People use iTunes, spotty , Apple Music, and all the other online platforms that the album was available on. The album was available everywhere and with the internet that's all the promo you need. I expected it to do a lot more with the bundles and with it being available on all streaming platforms.
