I am confused too but at the same time I think I know why. Based on his streaming pattern it seems like he has declined drastically very quickly. He is sort of lucky Shakira collabed with him on Deja Vu. His streaming numbers were slowing down big time.

ruthless  tbh it's true though. He really dropped big time and I don't know why. His music quality is sort of the same. I guess there was just hype around him during his first few years and it fizzled out in time. Not every artist can have longevity I guess. He is lucky he has contact with these other streaming forces.

I think if he wasnt attractive he'd be completely irrelevant by now. His songs all sound the same.

Prince has been appealing to the same sound, bachata was a thing years ago.
Now urban music is the real deal and Deja Vú VM lacks of replay value.

yup it did! but honestly it won't go far even with a remix. It isn't as catchy as Chantaje. That was truly a top 10 hit waiting to happen :/ Should of listened to Maluma and done that english remix.

I'm just still salty about her snubbing the obvious mega smash hit Chantaje  for all we know it could of been her last chance for a US top 10. Like it is almost 2x platinum (2 million) in the US with just a spanish version. Imagine if she did an english remix. It would of been like 4 x platinum by now and top 10

yeah it did really well. it was at about 1.8M US SPS many months ago. So I'm guessing it is getting closer to 2M. It's US streams are really impressive apparently.
