Mike adam ALWAYS posts fake news. all he does is steal tweets and posts tweet for clout. the song is barely eligible for platinum. it's at 800,000 copies sps currently.

Platinum is meaningless for singles in 2018 where album tracks get that certification effortlessly. But congrats on the swift cert purchase!

I fixed it for you. 1,000,000 units SHIPPED, it doesn't necessarily mean 1 million units SOLD. I'm not sure how they calculate single certifications, since most singles don't have physical copies that they distribute or ship, but that's how it works for albums as well. Many albums are certified platinum well before they actually move 1 million units.
