Kelsea's already T20 in country airplay. How is she still not in callouts when Raelynn and Runaway Jane are?

AC keeps adding more and more Rhythmic, which doesn't really fit that format. I also noticed AC added Keith Urban's Blue Ain't Your Color, which I guess makes sense given its sales and streaming numbers. However, with Urban and Carrie performing and probably pushing their pop duet starting at the Grammys, I guess I wound up surprised AC didn't just wait for that duet that's only a couple of weeks away.

Uhm? 24k Magic has been top10 on Digital Sales for 16 straight weeks, with no discounts and it's currently top5 despite being #8 on radio and falling.  

Regarding streaming, 400M views and 300M plays on Spotify and still going is nothing to be ashamed of.

I have a feeling this will join Real McCoy's "Another Night," the Goo Goo Dolls' "Iris," and Timberlands/One Republic's "Apologize" among the top chart performers in the history of the Top 40 format. Uptown Funk was significantly bigger overall, and got airplay at a good many more formats, but Closer's reign at Top 40 is virtually unprecedented.

Okay, here's Closer's trajectory, through last week, on BB's Top 40 Airplay Chart

 

28-19-15-10-7-5-2-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-2-4-4-4-4-5-6.....

 

So, through last week, that's 25 weeks on the chart, 24 in the Top 20, 22 in the Top 10, 19 in the Top 5, 13 in the Top 3 (it spent 4 weeks at #4 though), and 11 weeks at #1. This week would make 23 weeks in the Top 10. Can it get to 26 weeks? Iris holds the record with 28 (I'm pretty sure it's 28, but I know it holds the record), followed by Another Night, Apologize, and the #2 peaking Hanging By A Moment (Lifehouse), which all have 26-27 Top 10 weeks.

 

Iris spent 4 weeks at #1, and Another Night and Apologize spent 8 weeks at #1. Ace Of Base's The Sign holds the #1 run record with 14 weeks, but I don't have BB Biz to go back and check the rest of that song's chart run. I think it fell 1-4 after 14 weeks, so it probably didn't have the overall longevity of these other songs.
