This is so wrong but the attack has done wonders for Ariana's career. Everybody knows her now.

I'd say the way she handled it has done wonders for her career.

For most this would've been a straight-to-retirement event but she didn't let them win and I think most people admire that. (Also, her team has been donating everything so it doesn't seem like a cash-in)

Harry has no singles left on the album, and nobody here counts IDWLF for Zayn unless they stan for him. That was ALL Taylor, as evidenced by SGT flopping.

OT: I hope they keep Camila on Hot Tracks for a few weeks, to keep the song stable.

Taylor's had flops so, I don't see how it's immediately evident. SGT got mixed reception from the start across the board, it wasn't ever going to take off. Zayn's credited for his second hit.

This makes no sense, how are you gonna assume he don't have anymore singles before he even release a second single?

I'm not here to debate this. If that's your opinion, then fine. SGT only selling 22k, or something close to that, in its first week shows that Taylor was responsible for the other 170k that the song moved first week. I'm not crediting Zayn for something that obviously was not because of him. To each their own.

I meant that there's nothing that could potentially perform well left, most of the people in the album discussion for Harry recognize that there's not a good chance of anything else on the album smashing considering that SOTT was the most radio friendly thing on there and that itself isn't very radio-worthy nor is that smashing per say.

It just makes little sense. Pillow did 267k. Someone could just as ridiculously say Taylor brought him down. :soda: It's stupid. They're billed equally. He didn't just randomly get the chance to do the soundtrack, nor be able to just collab with Taylor Swift. Don't worry, no one's trying to take credit from her. I know this was a big talk once before, but yeah unacceptable. Moving on.

I think Harry's best bet would be New York. It could be a quiet AC/HAC hit, pick up at Pop and go forth from there with a little Summer promo. After that it's up in the air. Considering the sound of the album, you'd think they'd be less big machine-y with just focusing him at Pop and push songs to other formats. They don't have to do much of anything. For example, "Woman" at AAA makes sense to me. Lana was able to take "West Coast" to #2 there with little previous exposure there (I think maybe Ride charted).

Anyway, ESNY sounds like a hit so it's the obvious next choice. After that, yeah there isn't much else unless they were surprise hits.

IDWLF did 188,000 in its first week– a 29.6% drop from PILLOWTALK. Considering that sales decreased by around 25% between the two releases, I don't think it's fair to say that IDWLF represented a decline for him. SGT was discouraging, though.

Niall discounted everywhere? Bless.

Coldplay are now without question biggest band in the world. I hate the Chainsmokers but SJLT fits in with what Coldplay have been doing in recent years so its very much still them. As proved by onelove concert performance. And hopefully will bring new younger fans over to Coldplay.

Wait

A global smash in the making.

Songs have to sustain success on offial charts to be declared a smash. Blips on itunes do not a smash make.

Slow hands only scraped into the top 10 of a few countries so far. For such a simple song Im amazed to discover it has 6 writers credited! Like wtf.

you calling #29 position for Selena Gomez a winning? how delusional. in dying itunes market, a pop star, one of the mains... she should be in top 10 since debut, that would be winning
