  1. That's not how stuff should be counted. The album certifications already include the streams/sales from all the tracks and an album unit is not equivalent to a track unit. You should only compare album to album. 21 is at least 5 times more successful than Dua Lipa in the UK.
  2. Payola can't do much with these callouts
  3. Britney Spears and Lady Gaga come to mind
  4. In 2014, Taylor was already much bigger than Beyonce.
  5. The MCU is a fad, Taylor isn't. Taylor also has much more acclaim and industry respect.
  6. Stans don't argue about it because it's not an award for people with stans, it's most for politician. Time POTY is obviously a much bigger deal than a Grammy or an Oscar. It's closer to a Peace Nobel Prize than to those. Elon Musk is an extremely impactful person and was widely admired by most of the world in 2021.
  7. POTY is a really unique reward though and exceeds the scope of the music industry. She is the first entertainer to get it.
  8. Hamas or the dead Palestinian journalists could make sense tbh. I'm pretty sure the selection was done before the attack anyway, maybe next year.
  9. These Madonna hits are no Bohemian Rhapsody, stop being delusional about them.
  10. The 2023 Time's Person Of The Year doesn't need your validation.
