I miss his hip-hop sound but I have to agree with you, this is most likely the music he always wanted to make. I definitely prefer it over Twelve Carat Toothache and there some really nice bops on it, like Laugh It Off, Buyer Bevare and Speedometer. I wonder how it will do on charts.

I really enjoyed this album and it might be my favourite one by her. There are some rather weak songs on it but overally I'm so glad she's moved on from this Therapy dance-pop sound (yes I'm talking about Way Too Long). Haunt You, Irish Goodbye, Kills Me To Love You, Unhealthy, You & I and Never Loved Anyone Before are the ones I liked the most after 1 listen. Such a shame the songs are so short tho, most of them needed a solid bridge as they just feel incomplete. I guess we'll never get another 4 minutes long song from her......

The Girlie Show or Confessions Tour

I actually like it a lot. It's definitely better than "=". The lyrics are very personal, however I'm not too sure about the production on some tracks. Salt Water, Curtains and Life Goes On are my top 3 so far, End Of Youth is so close though.
