Except transgenderism IS an ideology that has only become popularized in the last few decades. There are billions of people on this planet who consider Sam Smith a man and Elliot Page a woman and do not care what they "identify" as, because they believe in biological realities and discard all the extra fanfare introduced in the last 40 years or so. Do you agree with them, or even have to? Clearly not, but equating 99% of the human population's beliefs to Nazi fascism is a reach if I've ever seen one and a complete fallacy.

He specifically referred to transgenderism as an ideology. In other words, even if a man identifies as a transgender woman, as far as society and the law goes, that "identity" does not exist, is not accepted, and that person remains a man. It's really quite simple to understand what he's saying. The left just hates his opinion and thus loves to smear him and play dumb acting like they don't know what he means. People in this thread (mostly Brando) bragging about their favorite pop stars getting frontloaded first week sales because physicals are easy to accumulate large numbers with when you have a huge fanbase... 1M people buying Midnights and not listening to a single song = 1M physicals sold = 1M sales for Billboard. 1M people streaming Morgan's new album the entire way through = just 36M streams in total = just 28,800 sales for Billboard just look at the disparity 400k streaming units is enormous.

How is that even insane its normal for a viral smash's to jump a lot on its first Monday. Driver's License did the same thing. DFY's gains on the other hand are obviously caused by autoplay payola...its flopping everywhere outside of Spotify and was on a continuous decline until Thursday. Don't expect anything less from two of the most gimmick-fueled artists in the industry though.

The market is very different between now and 25. For a streaming artist these are insane numbers. There's no way to get 1M or even close to that from streaming alone.

Lol. it debuted with 3.4M streams. That's just a fraction of the rest of this list. I'm not saying Don't Start Now isn't the bigger hit overall. But it's trajectory is very different from the others and that makes this comparison dumb.

This isn't really fair because all the other songs peaked very high in their first day and declined from there. DSN debuted low and grew over time so obviously it'll have a higher daily average 4 months after release than the others. It is probably bigger than the rest of those songs anyway, but yeah. Skewed comparison.
